This year, I had the opportunity to design the graduation card for the Form 5 students of St. Joseph’s Private School, Kuching.
The shape of the card is based on the cross-shaped skylight in the middle of the school as it is quite a distinct feature of the building. The colours green and white are school colours and I decided to use the black on the front of the card to give it a more serious and luxe feel.
The client requested for a blank space as they were going to get a student to write the names of all the graduating individuals there. I used the script font as the client didn’t want the message to appear too formal but as it was a card from the school, I decided to use a serif font for the smaller words to add just a little touch of formality to it.
